Calling all parents of newborns through to newly weaned... I have the ultimate parent hack to cut down your laundry and save you from some S*#t situations.
If you currently use disposable nappies then you will likely be familiar with blow- out, poop escaping from the nappy, generally up the back, or down the legs, which can often require a full outfit change. A cause of much heartache for busy parents, particularly if it happens when you are out of the house, often in the car seat while waiting for an appointment or somewhere else inconvenient!!
This issue is not something that happens with cloth nappies, due to the excellent absorbency, elasticated legs and thick back elastic.
If you are not quite ready to move to full cloth nappies but want the benefit of poop containment, you can try this great hack to prevent blow out ruining baby clothes, car seat covers or cot sheets for good.
Save time and cut down on laundry, by adding a cute waterproof nappy cover OVER your disposable nappy. HOW has no-one told me this before!! Continue to use your disposables just add an extra layer of waterproof containment with a cute nappy cover.
This will contain any poonami, meaning you'll no longer need to do a full outfit change. There is no absorbency in the nappy cover so it can be wiped, reused and washed with regular laundry.
Cloth Nappy covers come sized for newborn (first 6 weeks), one size (typically from 6 weeks - 2.5 years) or junior (2.5 +).
But like most things, each baby is different come newborns arrive and will immediately fit into One Size covers while some toddlers can fit into One Size covers well beyond their 3rd birthday.
